Just Because

Somehow this piece manages to be soft and bold at the same time. Layered in media and meaning it looks beautiful and striking on any wall.

The bouquet contains poppies, foxgloves and artemesia which are the foundations for opiates, digoxin and artemisinin - an extract used to treat malaria. This promises to be the first of many medicinal bouquets to come from Becky in this more contemporary style. Close up shots reveal the soft pastels, spray paint, acrylics, impasto, watercolours and oil pastels, which bring the viewer something new to enjoy every time you take a look.

The canvas is 70x70cm and placed in a barewood float frame with a small shadow gap. Ready to hang on the wall with d-rings and cord.
