The Golden Urchin

This vibrant echinacea gets its name from the greek word, ekhinos, for sea-urchin due to the seed head having spiny projections. The seed head in this painting is made of 23-carat gold leaf which is then detailed with black gloss drip painting. This statement piece cannot be missed.
